I'm local, so I'll be back. I took my (70something) mom on a 9 a.m. vaguely-themed YBG tour (they offer some that are focused on specific aspects of Austin -- this one was more the general one) because it was her birthday and we had guests coming in to town and she still hasn't been downtown much. I expected the usual high points, just on a bike, and that would have been cool. What I got was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide (Patrick) who took us on a tour that was an awesome combination of the usual high points and some fascinating side trips. (Dude knows a lot about all kinds of minutae, including chicken and tattoos and local plants and Texas history -- it totally didn't surprise me that he was a teacher in a past life!) We went places that I didn't know existed and had a blast. So, two thumbs up. And I would think this tour would be fine for almost anyone -- I drove because my mom gets nervous, but we were on easily operated, well maintained bikes and took safe, medium-traffic routes, and she totally could've handled it as well. Our fellow tour takers varied from college students on Spring break to, well, my mom. So anyone would enjoy it. And it's a pretty good deal for 2ish hours of really good guidance. This is an amazing experience!! It is not just a fun experience but it is very educational! I am 73 and my wife is 63! WE didn't have any problems with the bikes! Our guide Gator ( John ) was an 11 on a ten scale! He could write a book on customer service! WE were laughing most of the time! You even get to give yourself biker names! Of course my wife came up with Mutt and Jeff and I was MUTT!!! We are going again when we go to Austin in the Spring!! Thanks GATOR!!!

I am a true native Austinite and this was one of the FUNNEST adventures I have done in this city. I was sad when it was over. We are definitely going back and doing this again. Maybe the night tour next time. Our gang leader (ride captain) was Tyler. Wow! Right guy for the job. He was SO funny and made this the best experience. Thank you Tyler and Biker Gang!!!

Definitely do this!!! What a blast we had and Tyler was a hilarious, engaging and informative guide. We loved every minute of our ride!

We had so much fun on this tour. Pat was a fantastic guide and got us around to what we wanted to see safely and efficiently. A great way to see attractions and murals around the city. They are flexible and can adjust the route to cover what your or your group are looking to explore.The bikes were easy to pick up, and drivers in Austin were largely friendly to our group even as we shared the road with them.

Excellent trip. Justin did outstanding job guiding us around town and giving us history lessons as we went. He took us to a great place to see all the bats fly out from under the bridge. Definitely a fun time. You’ll be glad you did it!

I had no idea what to expect going into this, but it ended up being so much fun!! I never realized how much actually goes into making graffiti, and I have sooo much respect for the artists! Definitely recommend this if you want to change things up a bit! Bring a couple drinks with a group of friends and make an awesome piece of art!

We had a ball and will do it again. A super fun way to spend a hot evening in Austin, Our guides were terrific and we learned about a few cool sites in Austin we didn't know about- (we live here). Would highly recommend.The electric mini-bikes are easy!

We had such a great time on this tour! This was our first visit to the beautiful city of Austin and decided to try this tour. What a great way to see the city! We would never have seen all that we did otherwise. Our guide showed us so many highlights and was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and i’s different neighborhoods. We enjoyed every minute!

This was SOO much fun! The guides are the best! We had Peanut and Gator - excellent guides and incredibly fun. They take you around Austin, show you some sites, take some photos for you - all while playing some great "biker" music and having a good time. A definite must if you go to Austin!
